The Taiwanese Fishing boat named HIGH AIM 6 - was spotted by the Royal Australian Navy in 2002 of Broome at Rowley Shoals - and next day it was seen by the Coast Watch aircraft. There was no sign of any crew on board. The original Crew consisted of a Taiwanese Captain and Navigator with ten Indonesian crew men.
It was first towed for quarantine to Willie Creek 20 km from Broome. It was later beached on the mud flats at Roebuck Bay Broome. It was believed that there had been some misadventure concerning the Captain and Navigator. The crew sailed to Indonesia where the ship was abandon. The ship was set on auto pilot back to Australia where it ran out of fuel off Broome. It is constructed of fibre- glass and wood and because it has been on the mud flats since 2002 it was rendered unseaworthy.
